Location, and stuff

A territory located on China's south coast on the Pearl River Delta, bordering Guangdong, province to the north and facing the South China Sea to the east, west and south. Its population is 6.9 million people which makes it one of the most densely populated area in the world. It was ruled by the British from 1842-1997, July 12 when it broke away and gained independence.
Common industries include textile, apperal, tourism, Ship building, iron, steel, fishing, cement, small manufactures, and spinning mills, which were some of the best in the world.
